Reachout's office will re-open
June 2, 2008
Thanks to all involved in the remodeling project
(More special thanks soon)
Hello again
Nothing has changed from the last update. We are still sheet rocking the walls. The stucco will probably be next week. All is going well, just at this point it seems a little slow! But the tile is here, and we are working on the carpeting order. The paint is picked out, the doors are ordered. I don't know what else to present to the members. I have taken pictures but this is the slow period. I'll let you know when things start again, we're just waiting on some plumbing inspections.

Hello Everyone,
This is an update to let you know the remodeling project is well underway. The demolition has taken place and the framing will begin tomorrow. Those of us who have seen the work at Reachout are very excited - Mike Arnold is doing a great job and things seem to moving very quickly. The architectural plans by Randy Jacob are amazing and we are all looking forward to a space that will offer efficient service to our clients with great respect for their privacy and dignity. On that note, re: privacy we had to stop using the RV.Their was no privacy in the RV for counseling our clients and the conditions were not congruent to the high standards of Reachout. We will continue to actively counsel women in crises by phone during our regular working hours, and if they are in need of a pregnancy test, sonogram or other assistance we will refer to another center. For the brief time of construction the Women's Pregnancy Ctr. has offered to handle our sonograms and free pregnancy tests. We are grateful for the assistance during this time. Also, I'd like to extend a huge thank you to Marilou Lopez who has coordinated this massive remodeling effort. And another heartfelt thank you to Jean, our Director for coordinating the huge job of moving everything out of Reachout. To Lois and Theresa thank you, and to all the volunteers including spouses who have undertaken the massive effort to help Reachout.Thank you and God Bless,Yolanda - Jean becomes new Reachout Director

A warm welcome to Jean Aggerbeck, our new Director at Reachout Pregnancy Center. She comes to us from St. Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota, and has been volunteering at Reachout for the last two and half years as a client advocate, post-abortion counselor, and board member. Jean comes with excellent experience and qualifications in education, business, and most importantly in the pro-life arena. I've been fortunate to work with her in post-abortion, as a board member and as a prayer partner. I've also had the opportunity to participate in the same bible study with her for over a year. She has already become a valuable part of Reachout in so many areas – I look forward to working with her as our new Director. Jean has the qualities, character and energy to he our next Director and help move us toward our "20 Year Vision". Reachout welcomes Joan into our family, and may God Bless her, and her work. Yours in Christ,
WITH A GRATEFUL HEART, by Jean Aggerbeck

I am thankful for the client advocates and receptionists whose love and understanding encourages women to choose life for their babies, I am thankful for Lois and Theresa whose continue to he patient and encouraging, performing with excellence and devotion as I learn my new job. I am thankful for the Board who help guide us on the path they envision. I am thankful for all of our donors who generously give. I am thankful for those near and far who faith-fully pray for this ministry. Most of all I am thankful to Jesus, because it is in, and through, and with Hine that we can reach out to the many who come to Reachout Pregnancy Center. In Gratitude, Jean Aggerbeck
